We've decided that this is a thing between you two, so we'll leave it at a warning. He only reacts like this when he's provoked (in a way, even though what you did wasn't exactly provoking...) by you. Of course Shock's language was a bit harsh, but the groan was understandable, especially after being groaned himself.
