Musicians' income? You mean the content rights mafia's income. In most cases the musicians only get a fraction of the selling income. True it still affects them the same way, but its the big companies that have by far the most to gain from ACTA, at the cost of peoples' freedoms.

To stop making Lurker cry: Megaupload invented something that would get musicians and stuff 90% of the money(prolly from commercials) before they could even implent such rule they get banned..

Interesting how I got banned for a couple of spam posts whereas some people are doing it at the moment and in the Serious Discussion section.
No only musicians, but also game developers, movie makers and etc. are losing income. I know that content rights mafia deprives musicians of the profit they're actually making. Still, some mucisians's living depends on the sales. As I said before, I'd definitely buy more CDs and so on, if the money would entirely go to the creator of the product.

Well I'm not going to change the way I behave, still going to download everything just like before and still not care if someone finds out. Living on the edge fuck yeah.
Also, I have kind of lost faith in these protests. Most people just sign a petition and swear to do whatever is in their power to do ti fight for the cause, but so often forget to mention that they will only do so as long as it doesnt require them to get their assess off their computer chairs and actually get something done. It's very easy to just sign an internet petition and pretend as if it matters, rather than go out there and actually make a difference.
